Vital Signs at Tai Kwun

Vital Signs at Tai Kwun

Neon signs a flashing, taxi cabs and buses
Passing thru the night
A distant moan of a train, seems to play a sad refrain
To the night.

Honestly that lack of desire to appreciate and preserve Hong Kong cultural heritage—and neon lights are such a vital part of it—is exactly one of the things that makes me fly into a rage in a nanosecond. (Fear not, I’ll save you from my hour-long rant.)
Good thing is that some of the iconic signs have been conserved and recommissioned by Tetra Neon Exchange and you can still go see them.
