Collect Hong Kong 2025

Solely organised and presented by the Hong Kong Arts Centre (HKAC), Collect Hong Kong 2025 will be held from 22 March to 4 April 2025 at the Pao Galleries and Jockey Club Atrium in the Hong Kong Arts Centre. This flagship event is supported by the Hong Kong Art School (HKAS), the new team of the HKAS Alumni Networks Committee, and other invited art institutions and art galleries.

Building upon the success of the Collectible Art Fair in 2023, Collect Hong Kong has been created to support the burgeoning wave of artistic talent and heighten mass appreciation for the work of local artists. This biennial event showcases innovative art in diverse media to highlight the creative breadth of students and alumni from invited art institutions and provide a platform for artists, galleries, and art enthusiasts to connect and collaborate. Overseeing the artwork selection process will be an independent curator and a jury panel.

With Collect Hong Kong’s unprecedented championing of homegrown virtuosity, visitors will enjoy an enriching and truly unparalleled art experience. The event will feature works from emerging talents to established artists, catering to the diverse interests of art collectors and enthusiasts.

Art Basel is pleased to announce the participating exhibitors and key details of its 2025 edition in Hong Kong, taking place from March 28–30, 2025, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). This edition will feature 242 galleries from 42 countries and territories, showcasing a diverse range of artistic practices that reflect the fair’s commitment to global diversity and regional representation. More than half of the participating galleries are from the Asia-Pacific, highlighting Art Basel’s vital role as a platform for the region’s dynamic art scene.

The fair’s core sectors include Galleries, the main sector for established and blue-chip galleries; Discoveries, which spotlights solo projects by emerging artists; and Insights, offering curated projects from artists across Asia and the Asia-Pacific region.

Tickets for Art Basel Hong Kong 2025 are exclusively available for purchase online. The advance prices are available through March 16, 2025. Standard prices will apply from March 17, 2025 onwards.

Fine Art Asia 2024

Fine Art Asia 2024, the Asia’s leading fine art fair showcasing exquisite collectibles, is returning to Hong Kong this fall. The fair is going to take place at Hall 1C, Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, from Friday 4 to Monday 7 October, 2024, with a VIP Preview on Thursday 3 October. 

Successfully entering its 19th edition, Fine Art Asia has been striving to provide a vibrant platform and support cultural exchange in the arts between the East and the West. To continue the success of INK ASIA 2023, Fine Art Asia 2024 will further introduce a dedicated sector with a specific focus on ink art. It aims to expand the vision and boundaries of contemporary ink art while promoting the traditional culture through an innovative perspective. The fair also takes a major role in promoting Intangible Cultural Heritage, shedding light on the spirit of craftsmanship and cultural significances. Another highlight of the fair includes the debut of “Collectible Design – Asia Edition Pavilion”, showcasing a selection of outstanding collectible design items from Hong Kong, Mainland China, and other Asian cities. It aims to celebrate the magnificent blend of great design minds of designers and exquisite skills of artisans, exemplifying the perfect marriage of design and art in a contemporary context and reflecting relevant cultures.

BOOKED: Hong Kong Art Book Fair 2023 at Tai Kwun

Tai Kwun Contemporary's BOOKED: Hong Kong Art Book Fair 2023 is returning for its fifth edition, with local, regional, and international exhibitors joining in person. Extending across the gallery spaces of JC Contemporary and F Hall in Tai Kwun, this latest edition also launches "Sounds Like Print” (28 April to November 2023), a project that explores the intersection of “sound” and “print”.

Featuring more than 80 artists, publishers, organisations, and booksellers, BOOKED: Hong Kong Art Book Fair also includes special displays by the Hong Kong photographer Kurt Tong, the Swiss independent publishing house Nieves, and the French publisher onestar press / Three Star Books, along with a wide range of public programming such as talks, workshops, and performances (more details to come).

BOOKED: Hong Kong Art Book Fair underscores Tai Kwun Contemporary's dedication to providing a platform for creative practitioners and publishers who are invested in books as a medium of artistic and intellectual expression while providing an opportunity for public audiences to enjoy and engage with these materials as art, and as an important resource for learning and research.

Set off in art and shuttle through time. JCCAC Festival 2022 takes on the theme 【Shuttling】, to let artists be our ferrymen, ferrying us across different time and space with their works, and steering through uncharted waters with their time-honoured craftsmanship. From ancient to modern, traditional to contemporary, art serves as a vessel that connects the past, present and future.

The month-long Festival sees a kaleidoscope of free programmes, including the feature exhibition Classics revisited, Classics reinvented, co-presented with White Box Studio (L2-03) and White Box Friends, and curated by artist Jor Yin Fun. Festival affiliated programmes include handicraft fair, movie screenings, common space exhibitions, workshops, guided tours, talks and art demonstrations, with topics on various cultures, shuttling between East and West. Despite the difficulties presented by the COVID-19 pandemic, last year Fine Art Asia succeeded in uniting the Hong Kong art community in a rare physical art fair which raised the spirits of everyone involved. Fine Art Asia 2021 aims to deliver another vibrant, home-grown art fair this autumn. Due to continuing travel restrictions, the focus will once again be on Hong Kong art and antiques galleries, as well as art institutions.

Fine Art Asia 2021 is also pleased to collaborate with the Hong Kong Art Galleries Association, welcoming leading Hong Kong art galleries to the fair. As with last year’s highly successful “Hong Kong Spotlight by Art Basel Hong Kong”, this initiative brings together the city’s visual arts community, which is so crucial in the current circumstances.

The Hong Kong Art Gallery Association is excited to announce the return of UNSCHEDULED from 2 to 6 September 2021!

With more than a dozen galleries showcasing works from local and international galleries at the former TopShop location on Queen's Road Central, the second edition of UNSCHEDULED will highlight projects that respond to the history of the venue as a fashion retail center and blend aesthetics of art and fashion.

Solo exhibitions from 15 HKAGA gallery members, highlighting works by local and international artists.

  • The focus is on projects that respond to the history of the venue as a fashion retail center, blending the ideals andaesthetics of art and fashion

  • Designed by BEAU Architects, the fair will feature unique, minimally invasive structural elements that include clear synthetic curtains as booth partitions and free-standing walls.

  • Local curators Jing Chong and Clara Wong

  • The second edition is sponsored by Hublot

  • Proceeds from ticket sales will be shared among all participating galleries and donated to local charity partner 'Hands On Hong Kong' to support ongoing relief efforts for those most affected by COVID-19
