HKOP Awardees in Printmaking Exhibition 2021-2022
◎- Back and Forth — Irene Lee See Wing’s Solo Exhibition

This is a story of wild ducks and wanderers of the city: a story that amplifies the emotions within the recurring everyday rituals and dialogues. In these repetitions, we traverse from macro to micro – the wild ducks accompany the wanderers and reflect on one’s self view in relation to the other.

Irene stacks multiple layers of colour, smoothens and preserves the rough texture of brushstroke to create mono screen prints. Through this, she presents the neglected characters and time gaps in the dark corners of the city.

In the circle of ◎, meeting wild ducks and the wanderers, Irene was able to start extraordinary dialogues: moments which have been condensed in her unique print works.
