HKWALLS Street Art Festival will return for its 10th edition from 22 to 30 March 2025. International and local artists will paint murals across the Central and Western District, as well as display their digital artworks on LED screens all over Hong Kong.

Over the 9-day festival, HKWALLS will host multiple programming opportunities at our festival hub at PMQ and around town, including a new exhibition initiative, HKWALLS ROOMS, that shines a light on other galleries and artists along with the mural artists. The festival will also round off its program with a variety of other events like special screenings, panels, parties, guided tours, and workshops.

To energise the community through street art and culture, while showcasing Lee Gardens’ century-long progression as an art and entertainment hub, Hysan Development Company Limited (“Hysan”) and Lee Gardens Association have jointly launched the “Art Too” Festival. The Festival runs from to 1 December 2024 on the G/F, 5 Sharp Street East.

Hysan and Lee Gardens Association have partnered with HKWALLS to present a special edition of the “Tools of the Trade” exhibition. The curated art space features creative works paying tribute to the area’s heritage by U.S. artist Spenser Little, Hong Kong sign painter Katol and fine artist Wong Tingfung. The Festival commemorates pivotal moments in Lee Gardens through guided art tours, hands-on workshops and live demonstrations. Visitors can move beyond observation to engagement, with the opportunity to learn craft techniques and create their own artwork using authentic tools of the trade. HKwalls is thrilled to announce the upcoming exhibition of renowned artist Richard Hambleton at Soho House, from 11 to 28 January 2024. As one of the pioneering leaders in the street art scene, Hambleton left an indelible mark on the art world with his enigmatic and captivating shadow figures. Despite his tragic death in 2017, his artistic legacy endures. “Richard Hambleton: The Last Shadows”, co-curated by Edward Straka, Alasdair Pitt and HKwalls will showcase a captivating collection of Hambleton’s artworks, inviting audiences to embark on a profound exploration of the Shadowman’s evolution and discover the depths of his true artistic self.

HKwalls 2023 street art festival returns for its 8th edition welcoming international and local artists to paint large murals all across Hong Kong’s Central and Western District from 18 – 26 March.

Over the 9-day festival, HKwalls will also host dope workshops, guided tours and artists talks around town, with special highlights at Soho House including an exhibition featuring past and present HKwalls artists, and a 90-minute HKwalls x Chivas presents: I Rise We Rise Art Battle between two teams of artists, in front of a live audience to wrap up the festival on the evening of 26 March! Schoeni Projects is pleased to present disCONNECT HK, an expanded adaptation of disCONNECT LDN – an inaugural exhibition at Schoeni Projects LDN, an 1850s Victorian townhouse in South West London, in close collaboration with HKwalls. disCONNECT LDN presented site-specific works from 10 artists working across seven countries, and received enthusiastic acclaim from both press and public. disCONNECT HK presents an array of artworks from the London exhibition and continues the disCONNECT journey, promoting and celebrating cross-cultural exchange with the addition of four Hong Kong artists, and by taking over a restored 1950s Hong Kong historic tenement building and presenting highlights at Hysan’s Urban Sky space. disCONNECT HK runs in-person from 11 October through 29 November 2020 and virtually from 24 October.
