Art Basel is pleased to announce the participating exhibitors and key details of its 2025 edition in Hong Kong, taking place from March 28–30, 2025, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC). This edition will feature 242 galleries from 42 countries and territories, showcasing a diverse range of artistic practices that reflect the fair’s commitment to global diversity and regional representation. More than half of the participating galleries are from the Asia-Pacific, highlighting Art Basel’s vital role as a platform for the region’s dynamic art scene.

The fair’s core sectors include Galleries, the main sector for established and blue-chip galleries; Discoveries, which spotlights solo projects by emerging artists; and Insights, offering curated projects from artists across Asia and the Asia-Pacific region.

Art Basel is delighted to share Lanternfly Ballet, a newly commissioned site-specific work by renowned British artist Monster Chetwynd. The piece encompasses a large-scale installation that invites audiences to interact, explore and play within a fantastical world that features Hong Kong’s lantern bug and its associated misconceptions. The work is further activated through performances choreographed by Chetwynd specifically for Hong Kong, available for all to attend at select moments during Art Basel Hong Kong and beyond.

Lanternfly Ballet is on view from March 20 to April 6, 2025, at Park Court, Level 1, Pacific Place.

Performances take place on the following dates and are open to the public, free of charge.

Art Basel Hong Kong features premier galleries from Asia and beyond. It provides an in-depth overview of Asia-Pacific's astonishing diversity, as well as global artistic perspectives through Modern and contemporary works.

Tickets for Art Basel Hong Kong 2024 are exclusively available for purchase online. No onsite tickets sales will be available at the venue.

Art Basel Hong Kong 2023 will feature 177 exhibitors from 32 countries and territories. This year edition marks the return of Encounters, the fair’s sector dedicated to large-scale works. Exhibitors will also present works in the Galleries, Insights, Discoveries, Film, and Kabinett sectors.

Art Basel Hong Kong returns to the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre (HKCEC) with 104 leading galleries from 23 countries and territories selected for the 2021 edition. Bringing together Art Basel’s digital and physical platforms in a new scale and format, this year's show features 56 satellite booths by galleries who could not physically attend and the new ‘Art Basel Live: Hong Kong' initiative to broadcast the show to a global audience. Art Basel Hong Kong will present a unique overview of the diverse art scenes across Asia and beyond, focusing on both historical work from the region and emerging artists and galleries. Art Basel Hong Kong, whose Lead Partner is UBS, will take place from May 19 to May 23, 2021.
