We all know the Laughter series by Yue Minjun, but here are some new ways to hide your real face and real feelings — cover them in flowers. Being able to symbolize almost anything — let’s remember flower language as just one of the examples — while biologically flowers have a very specific function and purpose. I wonder if the artist actually went that deep into the metaphor.
