Cheng Halley: Pieces of Pieces at Touch Gallery

Cheng Halley: Pieces of Pieces at Touch Gallery

Is it a heart? Is it a flower? Is it just something abstract? It is piece of a piece, fragment of a fragment, part of a part. Of what? Well, of whatever you can think of: crumpled paper,, yesterday’s news, a leaf, a corner of a room, a memory of a place that already don’t exist. (I interpreted the use of silver paint as literal reference to a glimpse of recognition or understanding, but it’s a personal association).

Accompanied with 3d printed ceramics by Silvester Mok, whom I remember from last year HKAS/RMIT graduation exhibition (and was very glad to see his works again).

Exhibition period: 6—31.07.22
Gallery address: 2/F, Block 3 Barrack Block, Tai Kwun, Central
