I enjoy visiting artists and seeing their studios. I show them the way I see them, hopefully revealing something interesting.

These plywood sculptures by Scottish artist Kirsteen Pieterse make me think about happy marriage of traditional shang shui landscapes with industrial scaffolding-like constructions. They are both natural and man-made, solid and airy, and very tactile (I neither admit nor deny I touched them; OK, I did.)
