On 12th November at 13a New Street Art Gallery, we are proud to present a solo exhibition by a contemporary artist SAN CHIU (Ryan) of the theme “CROSS TOO OVER” from 13th November until 22nd November.

CROSS TOO OVER is a collection about the current social situation under the influence of the global pandemic by contemporary artist Ryan San. Ryan uses a satirical way to bring out the chaotic scene created by excessive consumption and “fast” culture, where creativity and consumption are losing their boundaries.

Characters in each painting look like they’re melting and exhausted as if they are shouting to the viewers they’re worn out for being overused. Making use of a humorous form of expression, Ryan’s ‘Cross Too Over’ collection is challenging the new era of art.
