Etsu Egami: Ichigo Ichie at Whitestone Gallery.
Are these faces made with stripes or hidden behind them? Broad and loose strokes can be seen as an instrument of distortion or an element of a creating — or both at the same time. Not the first body of works by Etsu Egami that I’ve seen but definitely the most solid one.
