Landscape and city, tradition and contemporary, such are matters that seem bipolar yet symbiotic. “Mountain Whispers in the Town” tries to tell the stories of Shanshui (traditional Chinese landscape paintings) using the language of the city, and lead audiences to experience life, Hygge style. 
The exhibition shows Shum’s two sets of new works – Hong Kong Jieziyuan Huapu (The Painting Book of the Mustard Seed Garden) and a series of ink paintings.
