Over the Influence is pleased to present Smoosh, a solo exhibition of new paintings by Brooklyn-based artist Royal Jarmon. The exhibition will run from 28 November 2020 – 09 January 2021, with an opening day on November 28 from 11 AM – 7 PM.  This will be Royal Jarmon’s first solo exhibition in Hong Kong.

For Royal Jarmon’s first exhibition with Over the Influence, the Brooklyn-based painter presents a series of seemingly flattened, birds-eye view of cars. Abstracting perspective and movement, he reconfigures the vehicles appearance, taking on a curious position, as if a child dissecting the objects around them.
