In consideration of the pandemic and existing social distancing measures, the Hong Kong Art Gallery Association will be organising a Stay-Home-Safe edition of #SouthsideSaturday on 2 consecutive Saturdays – 26 March and 2 April!
Enjoy the showcase of 15 art galleries on the Southside in the comfort of your home! Virtual gallery tours with livestream walk-through will be broadcasted on Zoom, where visitors can directly interact with gallery representatives. All sessions are free of charge and open to the public.

As part of Southside Saturday, come to Alisan Aberdeen for a fun and exciting afternoon of art and tarot card reading by artist Charlotte Mui. Mui is one of the six artists currently participating in Alisan Aberdeen’s group exhibition, Chinese Surrealism. The series of her exhibited paintings are inspired by the rich symbolism found in tarot cards, something she has been fascinated by since she was fifteen.
In addition to the tarot card reading, hourly guided tours on the current group exhibition Chinese Surrealism will take place from 11am - 3 pm.

Our artist, Andrea Björsell of our current photography exhibition will be joining us this #SouthSideSaturday, there will be a guided tour and Andrea will share the stories of her photographic journey.

HKAGA, together with our Southside gallery members, launched the #SouthsideSaturday as an effort to put together a roster of happenings in Southside galleries on the first Saturday every month. These happenings range from interactive events over a designated time to more passive events that allow visitors to experience something at their own pace, including talks, screenings, special displays, sketch sessions and more. All events are free unless otherwise specified.
